To ensure you have all the necessary information we invite you to take a few relaxed minutes to fully read, and absorb, everything below. There is quite a bit to read, so we recommend sitting down, maybe with a cup of tea or some water or juice, and making sure you’re nice and comfortable.

WHAT IS LIQUID LOVE?

The concept is simple: we will pour warm, fine, olive oil on to your skin, from where it will spread out over you body and form a lubricious substance, which allows you to float in a sea together with other oily bodies.

Everyone is invited to respect their own boundaries and honour their limits to touch and nudity.

Once in the oil, we invite you to move and allow yourself to be moved without intentions or sexual orientation. Releasing our usual desire to take action on erotic sensations and thoughts, we invite you to be present with them and to relax into the energetic flow of the bodies around you. This is a place where you can love and be loved in an impersonal and unbound manner and above all a place to super charge your soul.

WHAT HAPPENS AT A LIQUID LOVE SESSION?

Each session has a different group of people, and therefore each session is different. However, to give you some idea of the flow of a session, the first half hour is our open arrival slot. Once everyone has arrived, when we are all still fully clothed, we get to know each other a little bit. In a circle we will talk about the experience we are going to share, our consent etiquette, safety guidelines, talk about boundaries, and our guide about how to behave in the oil. Following this talk you will be invited to take off as many of your clothes as you are comfortable taking off nudity is completely optional at Liquid Love. In a circle we will go through gently guided breathing warms ups to prepare our minds and bodies before we lie down in sweet anticipation of the journey ahead.

As warm oil is poured over everyone, you will be guided through an exploration of yourself and others around you. We encourage non-verbal communication in this part of the afternoon, and many people choose to use blindfolds, which enhances the experience in beautiful ways.

Once the session is over will will supply you with very absorbent paper towels to help you wipe as much oil off as you can. You will also be given a microfibre hair towel to wrap your head to absorb the oil.

Please note there are no shower facilities at the venue so take this into consideration for your plans for the rest of the evening once you depart - you will be well moisturised to say the least!

DO PEOPLE HAVE SEX AT LIQUID LOVE?

No.

Despite the nudity and touch, which are both completely optional, the experience is focused on exploring the sensual over the sexual.

Liquid Love is therefore explicitly a non-penetration, non-ejaculation space. These boundaries are strictly held during our sessions. We believe these boundaries help create a truly magical space for exploring intimacy and connection.

HOW MANY PEOPLE SHOULD I EXPECT?

Whilst numbers vary slightly from session to session, we have a maximum of 30 people at our events. This helps keep our events beautiful and intimate.

CAN I ATTEND ALONE?

No.

ATTENDING WITH AN EVENT PARTNER/COMPANION - A BUDDY

Creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for all of our guests is very important to us. To help us create this space we have established a process that requires all guests to attend together with a trusted companion - a lover, or partner, or friend, or even family member. This is your Buddy

Regardless of gender, sexual, or self-identification, we respectfully ask that you do the following:

~ When booking, please reserve a spot for yourself and your Buddy, and please make sure you attend together. If your Buddy fails to attend with you, you will not be able to participate, and we cannot offer either one of you a refund.

We ask that your Buddy is someone you trust and know well, as you are both responsible for each other's behaviour while attending our event.

Your Buddy does not have to be a romantic partner.

DO I HAVE TO BE NAKED?

No.

There is nothing you have to do at Liquid Love. Our sessions are clothing optional. We invite participants, following our introduction, to undress to whatever level they feel comfortable with – bearing in mind that whatever you choose to leave on will inevitably be covered in oil.

There will be nudity in the room and it's important that you feel at ease with it.

WILL I BE TOUCHED BY OTHER PEOPLE / CAN I TOUCH OTHER PEOPLE?

That is entirely up to you - everything at Liquid Love is completely optional.

You are not expected to touch anyone, and you do not have to be touched by anyone. Within the space you are able to experience Liquid Love on your own or just with your partner, or interact with those comfortable with touching and/or being touched. We invite you to explore different dynamics during your session.

We view Liquid Love as a unique skin-contact experience. We invite you to be open to both touching as well as being touched.

We ask that you regularly check in with the people you are interacting with to ensure that you are not crossing their personal boundaries.

We demonstrate to participants to practice a specific signal to clearly indicate that you do not wish to be touched. We demonstrate this to all participants during our initial introduction so that there are no ambiguities, and that every guest is clear on the etiquette for the afternoon.

If at any point you feel uncomfortable, for whatever reason, we ask you to raise your hand so that your facilitators can quickly attend to you.

The space is mindfully and responsibly held throughout the session. Within the boundaries discussed at the outset, you are invited to explore the experience in whatever way makes you feel most comfortable.

WHO ATTENDS? DO YOU GENDER BALANCE YOUR SESSIONS?

At Liquid Love, we welcome individuals of all gender identities, sexual orientations, body types, skin tones, ages over 18, and expressions of the rainbow. We create delicately balanced spaces. Our invitation to you is to move beyond personal preferences and ideas of sexual attraction and embrace the beauty within us all.

WHAT KIND OF OIL DO YOU USE?

We use olive oil, which we have found works best. It feels lovely on the skin, and we add a few drops of essential oil to give it a fresh aroma.

WILL THE OIL GET IN MY EYES?

Depending on the session and the way you interact with yourself and others, this may occur. We use olive oil, which, in our experience, is gentlest on the eyes. Some people may feel a mild sting, or mildly hazy vision if oil gets in their eyes.

Your facilitators have paper-towels on hand throughout the session. If at any point you would like to wipe your eyes, simply raise your hand and a paper towel will be brought to you.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

~Smiles and positive intentions to share around

~One or two towels you are not too precious about – they will get oily

~Comfortable clothes that you are not too precious about, again because of the oil ~We have a few snacks available, but some guests find it helpful to bring their own

~We kindly ask - and expect - that you arrive washed, clean and fresh for the session

PIERCINGS / JEWELLERY

For the safety of all the other people taking part in the session, we ask that you remove all sharp/pointy piercings and jewellery. We’ll remind you of this before we start the session

HYGIENE, HEALTH & SAFETY

As this is an intimate event we expect you to be responsible and advise us as soon as possible if you are sick or have any contagious health concern as you won't be able to attend.

Please ensure you have no open cuts or wounds

Please ensure your toe nails are trimmed and not sharp

Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time freshly washed and clean Please ensure you have brushed your teeth before attending Please ensure you DO NOT wear any perfume or aftershave or other such strong-smelling products as these can be very overwhelming in our space

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse you entry to the session if we feel your hygiene may pose a risk to the group

WHAT IF I HAVE MY PERIOD?

You’re very welcome to join us.

We advise using a moon cup or tampon for the duration of the event. For hygiene purposes a sanitary towel won't be appropriate.

WHAT IF I'M PREGNANT?

You're very welcome to join us.

Please advise us upon booking or as soon as you know.

We have had pregnant guests join us for The Liquid Love Experience and they have reported back a uniquely special experience.

We are very discrete and friendly so if any of the above is of concern please contact us.

ARRIVAL

Please arrive promptly at the specified time. We are unable to wait for you as it is not fair on those who arrive on time. And please note that we are not able to allow entry to the event after we've started. If you do not arrive on time you will not be able to take part in the session, and we will not be able to refund the costs of your tickets.

IS MY TICKET TRANSFERRABLE / REFUNDABLE?

Once you have purchased a ticket you have 24 hours after purchase to cancel and receive a full refund.

After 24 hours, tickets are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable to other people other than those registered on the booking and non-transferable to other event dates.

Your host at The Liquid Love Experience is Yal he/him - a highly experienced educator and facilitator who has been hosting compassionate intimacy play spaces for many years.

He has spent the past decade creating special events, where curious people are guided through exploring their own sensual and sexual selves.
